Our stay went really well and everything about Ben Macduie lodge was spot on. The lodge is cosy, very clean and is very like the photographs . For us the location was perfect. The surrounding area with the birch and Scots pine made it feel very much like we were staying in Scandinavia. The birds didn’t stop singing and the outlook was calming and idyllic. The lodge has all you’d need for your stay and it’s an Ideal location to navigate along the Royal Deeside area whether by car or bike. We loved the whole experience and wanted for nothing during our stay . Would definitely return for another stay.

Great stay at the lodge. Very clean and plenty of space for our dog to run around inside and out. Close to the small town of Banchory and easy to get to Aberdeen by car. Thanks for a lovely stay!

A very nice place to stay! It’s a quiet, well-equipped lodge in a rural area. Our hosts suggested a lot of great places to go to and things to do, like a beautiful hike to a castle, a riding stable and nice restaurants. We enjoyed all of it!

Fantastic place

We had a fantastic stay at the lodge, loved by both the kids and adults alike. The welcome hamper and fresh flowers were also a beautiful surprise. The attention to detail throughout was wonderful. We look forward to coming back again ! 10/10 ! Thank you for being super hosts!
